Besares-Berlin
THE CIRCUIT - DER ZIRKEL
Platform for connections between Berliner and Hispanic American musicians
Besares Berlin
After a year of living in Berlin, we started to shape the idea of taking the Foundation's activities to new ground, renewing our commitment to build bridges and promote the dissemination of culture.
Our new project, BESARES-BERLIN, seeks to create a community nurtured by an important and very diverse network of contacts that works as a center of information and exchange that facilitates the diffusion of Latin American musicians either through cultural exchanges or their integration into the Berlin music circuit.
On the one hand, BESARES-BERLIN aims to become the link between Latin American musicians and the local scene, providing all the necessary information to promote cultural exchanges. These include the organization of concerts, recordings, live sessions and even collaborations between Latin American and Berliner artists, both in Berlin and in Buenos Aires.
On the other hand, BESARES-BERLIN also seeks to facilitate the integration of Latin American artists who have decided to settle in Berlin and need support to find their place in the local circuit.
TRICONE STUDIOS + FUNKHAUS
tricone studios
Our project is driven by a Spanish-speaking team that is looking to articulate and expand an already existing small community and features the support of a dream recording space for any musician: Tricone studios in the mythical FUNKHAUS. The studio has been run by an Argentinian team for 8 years and stands out not only for its equipment and the quality of its technicians but also for its beautiful recording room, formerly used as a radio broadcasting room under the communist regime of East Germany and built by the building's engineers in 1956 under the most demanding acoustic guidelines.
