BESARES foundation
The mission of the Besares Foundation is to connect two worlds: that of children from the most disadvantaged sectors of society with that of artists who need financial support to carry out their work. The foundation grants scholarships to artists and they in turn teach classes in their artistic disciplines in different low-income neighborhoods.
Through this program, children will have the opportunity to expand their contact with art, receiving new stimuli for their personal, cultural development and social inclusion. On the other hand, artists will have the opportunity to finance their works through solidarity work. In this way, a virtuous circle is created where art becomes a vehicle for social transformation and cultural development.
SOLIDARITY ALMBUM
Solidarity Allbum is a platform through which independent musicians from Buenos Aires can finance the recording of their albums by teaching music classes in needy neighborhoods. Through open calls, the foundation calls for musicians who have experience in teaching. The selected artists receive a scholarship so they can record their albums and in turn give music classes in needy neighborhoods. The foundation also connects musicians with producers, engineers and recording studios deemed appropriate for the artist's specific project. In this way, Fundación Besares also contributes to the development of the activities of recording professionals.
